Todd Adams' Current Research
Topic
While working on BNL E852, my current research topic is the analysis of
the f1 pi- final state in the 1-3-3-eta trigger mode. The f1 decays to
an eta pi+ pi-. This is the work my thesis will be based on.
Progress
-
December 1995 - eta pi+ pi- pi- monte carlo generation mostly completed.
-
Summer 1995 - Data for f1 pi- collected and kinematic fitting done.
-
Spring 1995 - 1-3-3-eta data explored and f1 pi- found to be viable.
Presentations
-
This work was presented in preliminary form at Hadron 95 in Manchester,
England by Jowd Dowd.
-
This work will be presented at the May APS meeting in Indianapolis by
Todd Adams.
